A Pub
This campus pub is where Jake saw the girl after whom he modeled the girlfriend in his journal. In this written journal, which is found beside him after his death, Jake imagined what might have happened if he had actually given the girl his number.
Jake’s Childhood Home
One of the activities that the Girlfriend describes is a trip to Jake’s childhood home where she meets Jake’s mother and father. This old, stone house is on a farm located in the middle of nowhere.
