Summary

The protagonist sees the man I want to be with and his wife as a potential vision for what her own future with her boyfriend would look like. This frightens and upsets her. She does not want to spend the rest of her life cheating, and makes her boyfriend an unwilling asset because he is too scared to leave her. She expresses to the man I want to be with how lucky he is that the women in his life do not gang up against him, and he is shocked, as if he has never considered this possibility before. The woman I am obsessed with disappears from social media for a few days. This throws a strange void into the protagonist’s life.
