Kerenza IV

Kerenza IV is Ezra and Kady’s home planet and the location of a secret mining operation under one of BeiTech’s competitors. At the very beginning of the novel, BeiTech attacks Kerenza, killing thousands and forcing more to retreat off world so that BeiTech can claim the mines for themselves. It is also revealed that they released an extremely potent bioweapon meant to spread terror in its victims. This, unfortunately, is carried off the planet onto the ships. The fate of those left behind on Kerenza IV is unknown.

The Alexander

The Alexander is the dreadnaught of the United Terran Authority (UTA) run by General Torrence. This ship is the only UTA vessel to respond to the Kerenza distress calls, revealing how well BeiTech disrupted communications.
