Summary

On page 317, Ezra reaches out to Kady from a supply room as another man from maintenance is trying to get them out so they can fight to the escape pods. Kady explained what AIDAN did and that they will only be able to unlock the doors by hand as long as the AI is in control. They discuss what they can do to get Ezra and the others to safety and she warns them that they must kill any infected that attacks them.

Page 321 shows a conversation between commanders on the Hypatia confirming that something is wrong with the Alexander. Syra demands that they get away from the Alexander, even when others disagree with leaving their friends and family behind. However, the navigator confirms that the Alexander is changing course.
