The Golden State Killer's identity may have been unknown, but detectives were able to compile his profiles based on his patterns, crime scenes, and victim's reports. They knew that he followed ritualistic patterns in binding and raping his victims. He preferred to hit two story homes in private neighborhoods to ensure maximum control and avoid detection. Victims has said that he has a small penis, seems to feign aggression, and wept after rapes. Based on evidence found near train tracks, he may have also have had endured humiliation in the past by a grade school teacher and reflected on the word "punishment." Given what we know, what could be said about the Golden State Killer's past and his motivations to commit heinous crimes?
