Chapter 10 Summary

Smithy and Madison arrive at the Dunkin Donuts to meet with Jack and Tris. Back at the Fountain house, Diana has located the laptop and briefcase that Jack hid in the attic. As Diana is climbing down the stairs, she drops the laptop on the cement floor and the garage door opens because Cheryl is home. Jack and Tris bike down to the beach parking lot while Smithy and Madison drive Madison's car. They all huddle into the car and Tris falls asleep between his two sisters. They discuss why Cheryl would kill their father and how to expose her. Smithy asks to see the pictures. Cheryl parks in the driveway, walks into the garage, shuts the garage door and confronts Diana on what she is doing in the house.
