Chapter 6 Summary

Cheryl announces to Madison that Smithy is on her way home. Mrs. Griz calls to tell Cheryl about the phone conversation she had with Madison and that Jack picked up Tris. Cheryl realizes she has a text from Jack but assures Mrs. Griz that the day care is still going to be on television. Madison leaves the house but the associate director, a woman with bad hair, follows her.

Diana is in class thinking about what Cheryl is up to when her cell phone rings. It has the name Reed Fountain on the caller ID, but when Diana answers, it is Cheryl calling from the house phone.
