Chapter 3 Summary

Smithy remembers how she and Diana were best friends before her parents died. Smithy is also remembering that she is mad at cancer and that her mother gave her life to have Tristan. Smithy realizes that if she wants her family back that all she has to do is go home.

Jack is listening to the producer tell his aunt that she has to bring the sisters home for the taping. Jack learns that Madison' godparents have been talking to the trust fund trustee about getting Madison out of their house. As Aunt Cheryl and the producer plan to drop in at Tris's daycare, Jack runs out of the house and jumps on his bike and heads toward Tris's daycare.
