Summary

Chapter 27 opens with Grant running after Amanda, asking if what Bee said is true. Amanda confirms it and asks why it matters. Grant asks her if being attracted to her makes him gay. Amanda tosses the homecoming tiara and leaves.

Chapter 28 continues with Amanda running down the hallway. She twists her ankle. She begins the long walk home. Parker pulls up alongside the road, mocking Amanda for being Grant’s boyfriend. He offers to give her a ride, but she refuses. Parker pulls over and starts walking with Amanda. He follows her as she tries to get away. Parker punches her in the back of the head and begins to grope her on the ground. She drives her knee into his crotch and gets away from him. She hears female voices, and Parker continues after her.
