In Kaeleigh (p. 215), sometimes Raeanne comes to Kaeleigh during the night, to listen without judgment, but tonight Kaeleigh is alone. She must wrestle with her memories by herself, until she falls asleep. She is awakened early in the morning by Daddy's cursing. He wants to know if one of Kaeleigh's friends, or a boyfriend, is responsible for so many recent hang-ups. Kaeleigh says no, and that she doesn't have a boyfriend.
