After Summary

The survivors are delivered to Dundee, Scotland. George has never liked traveling by sea, so he is relieved to finally be on land. A ceremony is held to celebrate the rescue. A reporter calls George a hero, but he refuses to accept the title. George points at the crew of the Pogodin, calling them the heroes.

Gunvald learns that his team, minus Roger Breskin, were safely rescued and that he will be airlifted off the polar icecap soon. This news comes five days after the rescue.
