Willowgrove Christian Academy

Willowgrove Christian Academy is the most prestigious school in the area. Chloe's mom attended the school when she was a teenager, and she had a terrible experience after coming out as a lesbian at the school. She warns Chloe that the school is homophobic, but Chloe insists on attending because she is academically ambitious, and she thinks that the school has probably changed in the last 20 years. However, when Chloe arrives, she finds that the school is just as homophobic as ever. She finds a small group of gay friends in her theater group, but most of them are closeted because of the hostile environment that there school creates.
