Chloe Green

Chloe Green is a high school senior who was born and raised in California by her two moms. When her grandma gets sick, they all move to Alabama, where one of Chloe’s moms is from. Chloe, who has always been an academic achiever, insists on attending Willowgrove Christian Academy, which is the most prestigious school in the area, even though her mother attended the school and warns Chloe that it is a very conservative and homophobic institution. Chloe decides to take her chances, and she finds a small group of theater kids who are also gay—though none of them are out to the whole school of their families because it is a hostile environment.
