Chapters 19-20 and Epilogue Summary

In Chapter 19, Kinsey learns that Morley Shine was killed by a pastry laced with poisonous mushrooms. The mushrooms caused Morley to die of kidney failure brought on by the poison. This means that Morley was given the pastry either Friday evening or Saturday morning, suggesting he had learned something before that time period that made someone worried enough to kill him. Kinsey goes back over Morley's calendar for the final days of his life. Laura Barney said she was supposed to meet Morley Saturday morning and Francesca Voigt said she had never met with Morley, but there was a notation on his calendar the Thursday before his death with her initials.
