Summary

Chapter 2: The Order of Loss, Part V, is part of Freya's frame story. Two years after Solomon left the family, Freya and Sabrina had become closer and spent many afternoons together. One day, they saw a post on social media in which Solomon said “Finally, we have a son” (80). Sabrina suggested they post a song of Freya singing. She planned to make it a “greeting to my new brother, a reminder to my father” (81), but the song sounded primal and pure.
