In chapter A, Ed tries to sort out his feelings about what has just happened. He wonders if the man was surprised that he was still alive. Ed just wants to go inside his house and hug his dog. They share a coffee. Marv calls to find out if Ed plans to play in the Annual Sledge Game. Ed tells him he has to think about it.
