Chapters 29 and 30 Summary

Six explains that she has been looking for John since Three was killed. One of her Legacies is invisibility, she says, explaining how she got past the Mogadorians. She asks if he still has a Cêpan and he tells her he does, but she reveals that her Cêpan has been dead for three years and she has been on her own since. She tells John that they are in a war. At first she believes they can escape, but soon realizes that now is the time to take a stand. She confronts the first Mogadorian scout and when she kills it, the body turns to ash on the floor.
