Chapters 14 - 16 Summary

Kevin steps out wearing night vision goggles. He charges and John sidesteps him easily, doling out some reciprocal punishment before continuing towards the girls' voices. Sam is up ahead, being restrained by a zombie. John blinds them with his hands, subdues them, and asks what Mark has planned. They claim it is all just a joke. John takes their goggles and throws them as hard as he can, knowing they'll probably wind up somewhere out of town. John is tackled from behind again. He easily subdues the attacker, promising to break him in half if he doesn't reveal Mark's plan. He spills and they quickly catch up with Mark and several of his friends. John gives the others an option to leave before he throws them in the water along with Mark who has lost his option to choose. None leave...
