Chapters 8 - 11 Summary

Henri picks John up from school and asks about his hands. John lies, telling him they never came on. At home, the Loric chest is sitting on the table, and Henri reveals that it takes the power of them both to open his inheritance, given to him at birth. Henri pulls out a Loric crystal and locks the chest again, handing the crystal to John. His hands come on even brighter than before and John sees a swirling cloud mass as the rock heats up, along with the Loric charm he wears. It is tied to his Legacy and his touch activates it. Henri tells him to relax, and allow his mind to take him wherever it will as he runs the crystal slowly up John's arms, training his body to ignore the heat. John finds himself on Lorien, and hears...
