Chapter 19 "The Hand" Summary

Jojo has asked for another meeting with Coach Roth. Jojo tells him about Mr. Quat and his paper. Coach is mad and Jojo defends himself by saying that the paper was before his attitude turnaround. Jojo feels he deserves a break because of his earlier decision to take a class seriously. Coach asks for the name of the tutor and decides that he will have to see him.

Charlotte has been seeing a lot of Adam. He would call her and ask her out. His feelings for her are obvious and Charlotte wants to fall in love with him, but she would feel awkward in public; worrying that people would see her cuddling with a dork. She wants to like Adam because he is intellectual. She compares the Millennial Mutants with the frat boys of Saint Ray...
