Summary

In Chapter 13, Nyamayaro experiences crisis. Although her HeForShe movement has taken off around the globe and on social media, the movement has gained detractors as well. These detractors think that men should not be given any more power than they currently have. Many other critics voice concerns about how to concretize the HeForShe movement. In only a month's time, Nyamayaro and Phumzile create the HeForShe IMPACT 10x10x10 initiative bringing together 10 world leaders and 10 global CEOs and 10 university presidents to champion gender equality. These leaders will then create new policies and opportunities for women. When the UN senior leadership accepts this extra measure, Nyamayaro feels relief. Next, she travels to Davos, Switzerland to the World Economic Forum to present her plans for gender parity. She is successful in this venue too, and she again feels relief.
