Hyperion

A planet afflicted with Deep Ice Ages, it is one of nine labyrinth worlds and home to the Shrike. This world is the destination of the Shrike pilgrimage. It contains the Time Tombs and is considered an incredible threat to the Ousters and the TechnoCore in the near future. It also contains the City of Poets. This planet is connected to each of the seven pilgrims in some form, mainly because of the Shrike itself. Hyperion was created when the Hegira was a small freehold living on one of the moons of Saturn but could not survive without terrestrial resupply. They traveled to the Outback and named the planet after their moon.
