Summary
In [86], Jane prepared to make her way to the family farm. She left Silvina's journal and Furtown in the houseboat, and "blew the place to hell" (276). She called Hellmouth and asked him what he thought Silvina was up to, and he responded with "something radical" along the lines of growing "human brains inside some fucked-up animal" (279).
In [89], Jane pulled up to her old family farm, and there were a lot of changes that made her uncomfortable. The road was paved, lots of new houses lined the property that had not been there before, but to her surprise, the family name was still on the mailbox.
