Summary
In Chapter 57, Robin instructs King George to follow Shakes’ car to see where he is going. Asanda has told Robin that Shakes has a decoy house he parks in front of so that if he is followed by police, they will not know that the decoy house is not his real home, and he will be saved some trouble. Both King George and Shakes are drunk so neither are driving straight. King George tells Robin to steer while he operates the pedals and gears. When they get to Shakes’ decoy house, Robin explains everything Asanda told her about how Shakes actually lives in a different house around the back of the decoy. King George falls asleep in the back seat, and tells Robin to wait for him to wake up before she does anything. Robin gets impatient and gets out the car. She...
