Summary

In Chapter 43, Robin watches Beauty through the window and also recognizes Phumla although she is not sure where from. An enormous woman in bright clothes comes into the bar and tells a security guard to escort a drunk man out. Robin gets down from the barrel to look for another window. Around the back of the building, she sees Phumla talking to Shakes. Robin runs back to Wilhelmina’s car and a hungry dog chases her, yapping at her from outside the truck. Wilhelmina comes out of the house she was waiting in to see what the commotion is, but luckily Robin is out of sight.

Wilhelmina drives Beauty home and asks if she found out anything useful. Beauty is just about to tell her what happened when Phumla comes to the car and explains that she uses a fake name because Mama...
