Summary

The next section is titled Part Two: The Man Who Was America. The first chapter is titled “London, now.” Tom continues to ride a bicycle rather than drive a car. He notes that not every change is an improvement. Camille greets him. Tom reveals that he was born in France, immediately knowing it was a reckless comment. Camille says Tom looks familiar.
