San Francisco
San Francisco is the place where Louise lives with her daughter, Poppy. She moved there to be as far away from her family as possible. When Louise returned to San Francisco after her parents’ death, she discovered that her daughter had created a new Pupkin puppet with Ian’s mother. This puppet took control of Poppy in an attempt to control Louise.
Corner of Coleman and McCants
The corner of Coleman and McCants is the place where Nancy and Eric had their fatal crash. When Louise drives through this intersection when she first arrives in Charleston, she imagines what the crash must have been like. Later, after Pupkin has taken control of Poppy, Poppy jumps from Mark’s truck at this intersection.
