Book 4, Chapter 9 Summary
The first film Jenna made for Wicked was called Priceless. She chose Peter North to star opposite of her. She was very impressed with his performance. While on the set, she also met Steven St. Croix. He was an adult film industry star, and although they did not have any scenes together, he did talk to her. After a few weeks, he asked if she would go with him to a charity gala, and for the first time in almost a year she said yes.
Everyone wanted to know who she was and have his or her picture taken with her. Both she and Steve loved it. He treated her the way a gentleman would treat a lady. She did not understand it, but she liked it.
Next in her life, she needed a car, but she was not making enough...
