Book 3, Chapter 47 Summary
Jenna writes in her diary that "the worst thing in the world" has happened. She wants to die, but will not do it because it would hurt her father. She cannot tell anyone what has happened and she will never write again. She does not understand why this has happened to her and she does not know what to do.
Book 3, Chapter 47 Analysis
The reader does not know what has happened, but it is understood that someone has done something to Jenna. What we do know is that Jenna is not one to want to die. She always wants to fight, to survive. Her drive seems to be gone.
