Book 3, Chapter 2 Summary
Jenna, Tony, Selena and Larry are talking about when Tony and Jenna were growing up. About a year after their mother died, their father, Larry, decided to pursue his dream and become a police officer. He hired nannies to watch the children, but they never stayed. He needed someone to look after them, because he had the police department and the mob mad at him. He refused to take bribes or look the other way. He wanted to save the world, since he was not able to save his wife. This is one reason he decided to get married.
