Book 3, Chapter 1 Summary
Jenna's father met her mother when she was a showgirl in Reno. He knew from the moment he laid eyes on her that she was the one. After much bribing and conniving, she eventually went out with him, and married shortly after. She had always told him that she would die of cancer, but he never would acknowledge it. They tried for seven years to have children, and finally Tony arrived. He was very sick the first three years of his life, but Jenna was healthy and happy from the beginning.
