Summary

Chapter Four opens as the Fae is revealed to be Cormac; Bryce's Fae cousin. He reveals that King Einar (the Autumn King) has decreed that Bryce will be married to Cormac. However, Bryce demands he leave and Hunt is surprised that Rahn seems proud. Cormac thanks Bryce for showing her gift and says they will meet at the altar as he departs.

After Fury threatens the party-goers to keep the meeting a secret, Bryce wants to get Ember and Randall out of town. Rahn says Cormac nearly killed him during his Ordeal because wanted the Starsword. Bryce asks Rahn how to stop the engagement and has a mental conversation with Rahn about the sword. Marc says they are searching the Asteri Archives for the legality of the decree. Bryce, however, thinks the Autumn King wants her to fight him and...
