Summary
In Chapter 6, Isaiah Tiberian, an angel in the 33rd Imperial Legion, observed Bryce’s disheveled appearance through a one-way mirror as she sat in the holding area. Hunt Athalar, an infamous member of the legion who is known as the Umbra Mortis, entered the room and asked for details. Hunt recalled finding Bryce in the alley, where she had resisted their help until Hunt told her to calm down. He and Isaiah discussed Danika and her pack’s sudden deaths. Hunt had not found any trace of the demon who was responsible. The legion arrested Philip Briggs for the murders.
