Emerson Cole

Emerson Cole is a seventeen-year-old girl who has lost her parents to a bus accident. A few months before the accident, Emerson began seeing what she believed were dead people. After her parents died, Emerson had an argument with one of these phantoms in the school cafeteria, a scene that ended with Emerson being admitted to a mental hospital where she was treated for severe depression. Emerson attended school in Arizona soon after in order to avoid the children in front of whom she made such a fool of herself. However, her scholarship to the boarding school has ended and she will have to finish her last semester of school in her hometown in Tennessee.
