Chapters 17-18 Summary

In chapter 17, Branitt calls corporate and tells Muckle about the vandalism over the weekend. Muckle is angry and tells Branitt that he will be fired if anything else happens. Muckle then tells Branitt that they will be having the ground breaking ceremony on Wednesday, two days away, and afterward they must be prepared to begin construction or else. Branitt agrees to stay at the site for the next two days to guard the area. Roy goes to school that same day and learns more details about Dana's arrest. At the police station, Officer Delinko is placed back on active duty and a letter added to his permanent folder for the arrest of Dana Matherson.
