In Chapter 19, Kiki woke up on the next Saturday morning to Malikai calling her. He told her to go to her window. When she did, she saw him standing outside dressed like Niyo, the romantic hero of The Reign of Ifekonia. He told her he had gotten them tickets to RomCon and demanded she get ready so they could catch the train. Kiki got into her Shangaya costume, and they headed out.
