Summary

Chapter 13 is set back when Kiki was in high school. Her friend Lysha invited her to come out to a party because she had been antisocial ever since her mother had gotten sick. Kiki’s best friend, Rianne, and Rianne’s boyfriend, Nile, encouraged Kiki to go, too, even though Rianne was going to be out of town.

In Chapter 14, Kiki and Malikai recorded their second episode of Gotta Hear Both Sides. They argued about Malikai stealing Kiki’s thunder in seminar by answering a question she was trying to answer. Malikai explained he was just trying to impress her, not embarrass her, and she apologized for thinking badly of him. He publicly apologized to all the girls he had treated badly in the past.
