Summary

In Chapter Seven, Kiki and Malikai sat down in “Cuffing Corner” and flirted with one another. Kiki liked that he was smart and perceptive, and she felt herself feeling real emotions for him. Aminah interrupted and showed her a post on the campus gossip site, The Teahouse, that Simi, the former president of Blackwell, had posted about Kiki kissing Malikai. All the girls of Blackwell who had listened to Kiki’s rant warning them against Malikai thought that Kiki had done the Brown Sugar show in order to get rid of the competition so she could have Malikai all to herself. Kiki began to panic, and Malikai called her a hypocrite for calling him a “wasteman” while she was playing games with Zack in secret. Kiki accused Malikai of kissing her in order to make a fool of her in front of everyone...
