Malibu
Malibu is a setting in the story “Malibu.” The narrator tells his uncle that Malibu will be just as good as having his ashes scattered in space. The uncle does not appear to be happy with the narrator’s suggestion, but he agrees it will work if the narrator can find a place that is shady with no animals. When the narrator returns and announced he has found a spot that fits that description, an impossibility, the uncle looks sick.
