Summary

Moshe discusses different reasons for the Jewish prohibition against eating pork, commenting first that the general belief is that that probation exists because of ancient concerns about hygiene. He then goes on to ask whether Harry has ever noticed how much a piglet resembles a human child, and comments that it does not seem right to eat an animal that eats everything, including at times its own young. He goes on to describe how images of Jews eating pork have been part of anti-Jewish propaganda for centuries, and comments that the prohibition against pork is something that Jews and Muslims can agree on “at last” (64). He signs off “Your friend” (64).
