First, Annabelle says that she has been unhappy because Harry was not at the airport in Tel Aviv to pick her up, but then discovered that her letter telling him when she was arriving was in the bottom of her purse. She then describes the freedom she felt; how she rented a car and started driving to her dad’s; and how she realized she was heading towards herself.
