Summary
Email from David Rosenmerck to Annabelle Rosenmerck, April 12, 2009. Subject line: “From LAX heading to New York” (14). David sends his email from an airplane, commenting that he seems to live his life on planes and trains. After acknowledging that Annabelle’s relationship has ended and sending his sympathies, he says he is heading to the opening of his new play in New York, one that is about Harry and which, he adds, is an attempt to reach out to him through provocation. David recalls his earlier successes in New York, and recalls how seeing some children on a train (two siblings giggling with each other, one alone with a mother busy with her book) made him miss Annabelle who, he points out, never answers her phone.
