Summary

In Chapter 5, set November 22 - 25, 2018, Emily does not like Ellen Craslow because she has already refused to eat one piece of liver long enough that the liver has gone bad. When Emily brings down a fresh piece, Ellen reminds her that she is vegan and will not eat it. Roddy, a biologist and nutritionist, visits Ellen the next day. He warns her that she will die unless she eats. She does not respond. As he is leaving, she tells him she knows the big yellow box is a wood chipper. She assumes that they will use that machine to get rid of her.

Roddy realizes that he and Emily made a mistake when they chose Ellen. When she refuses the third piece of liver, they take her the salad she requested. Roddy shoots her before she can eat it.
