Summary

Chapter 31 is subtitled “S.T.: Martha Lake, Lynnwood, Washington, USA.” As the celebration of Dennis continued, Kraai arrived, and S.T. apologized for letting everyone down. Kraai disagreed, explaining that Dennis had only known what to do because of S.T.’s lessons. Other animals came to thank Dennis, including cats, raccoons, opossums, and orangutans. The largest orangutan, The One Who Opens Doors, even petted Dennis.

Kraai asked S.T. and Ghubari what the creatures Dennis defeated were, since they were not The One Who Conquers. Ghubari responded that they were new. S.T. said that they must be MoFos, or Hollows, evolving for survival. Ghubari said that he hadn’t thought such a thing was possible before, so he hadn’t shared everything he knew.
