Summary
Chapter 22 is subtitled “S.T.: Up Shit Creek, Seattle, Washington, USA.” As S.T. and Dennis rested in the rain, Kraai and other crows flew to join them. Kraai, trying to commiserate, noted that S.T. was injured, but S.T. responded defensively. Kraai continued, saying that he understood S.T. had been searching for The One Who Opens Doors in order to rescue domestics, but S.T. thought Kraai was rubbing more salt in his wounds. S.T. complained about bad advice he had gotten from Aura and the crows at the zoo who had bothered him. Kraai responded that it was not right to lump all crows together, that they were all individuals who followed the murder code.
