Summary

In the Prologue, Jack Masselin writes a letter to an unidentified person apologizing for some action he is about to take to stop a game. He claims he is trying to keep people from getting hurt. Jack also confides to this person that even though he had not been officially diagnosed, he has prosopagnosia, a condition that keeps him from recognizing faces, even his own and those of his family members.
