Summary

In Chapter 12, LB invited Kathleen to “a midsummer rave” at Dolly’s (158). For Kathleen’s costume, they raided the building’s Free Pile. In the courtyard, a resident named Baby Shirley was suntanning naked in a hammock. After extracting an outfit for Kathleen, the friends returned to LB’s room and dressed. Kathleen asked about living at Dolly’s, as she guessed Marissa would sell the house after the wedding and move in with Brian. LB suggested Kathleen might still return to school in Baltimore, which annoyed Kathleen.

When Andrew arrived, he told Kathleen he and LB were attending a pet expo in Vegas with Luke for Milo. He urged Kathleen to book Marissa’s trip at the same time. Kathleen had yet to make arrangements. They all took MDMA before joining the party.
