Summary

In Chapter 3, Afi and Olivia are driven to Accra by one of the Ganyo’s drivers. They go to a modern and glamourous building called King’s Court. Richard meets them there to show them Afi’s new flat, she is amazed by how modern and clean it is. When she notices Eli’s things are not in the flat, Richard tells her he has many houses and his things are in another. Richard gives her money and says he will send a driver to take her shopping. He says Eli will return to Ghana next week.

Afi expresses concern to Olivia after Richard leaves that Eli does not live here, which angers Olivia.

Afi reflects on what Richard told her about the Liberian woman. Eli met her when Fred, his eldest brother, sent him to Liberia after he graduated university to oversee business...
