Chapter 5-6 Summary

Stephanie visits Mabel again but does not learn anything new. Stephanie tries to call the garbage company and speak to Larry about Fred's bill but is not successful. Stephanie attempts to run the facts as she knows them so far through her mind and comes up with a scenario. Stephanie believes Fred saw someone dump the bags containing the body and was blackmailing that person. It was the only scenario that makes sense to her. Stephanie goes to pick up Ranger's car so she can do the chauffeuring job for him. The kid Stephanie is to drive is a spoiled Arab child with a sexual fixation.
