Chapter 4 Summary

Ranger stops by Stephanie's apartment and asks her to take another shift with Tank at the apartment building, but Stephanie refuses. Stephanie goes out and discovers that Bunchy is following her. Stephanie pulls over and demands to know what he is doing. Bunchy insists that he wants to be a part of Stephanie's investigation into Uncle Fred's disappearance, but Stephanie suspects there is more to his interest than he admits. Stephanie goes to the office and asks Lula to get Bunchy off her tail. Lula distracts Bunchy by kissing him while Stephanie drives away. Stephanie goes to Mabel's and asks about Bunchy, but Mabel insists that Fred was too cheap to throw money away on gambling. Mabel also mentions that Fred did not own a camera, suggesting the pictures she found were taken with a disposable camera. Stephanie goes to the bank next...
